The 5-star Kyma Suites Beach Hotel, Kyma (Greek for Waves) was named after the Greek sound of summer, the land the gods chose, the birthplace of ‘the love of travellers’ (Filoxenia). This beautiful hotel, sat quietly on the shore, directly at the entrance to the Old Town, defined by its architecture and much sort after location, presides over ‘Unknown Soldier Square’ and the Porta di Sabbionara (Gate of Sand) that frames the eastern entrance to Rethymno’s majestic old town.
Situated in the heart of the renowned Rethymno beach, under the protective shade of magnificent old plane trees sits both our restaurant, Moulveri and our Navy Blend bar. Moulveri offers rich, international buffet, as well as a selection of dishes cooked in the true Cretan style or even with a twist, this is ‘show-cooking’ at its best and you’ll be able to immerse yourself in our chef’s imagination as our culinary team cook up a storm. The Navy Blend bar, honours ‘memoirs of the sea’, our own personal ‘hangout’ with Navy rums, gins and whiskey’s, creative cocktails and beers from around the world, or stay with us a little longer and sample our locally supplied culinary menu.
